Steps from the city's cathedral and hanging municipal french gardens.The newly renovated home offers luxury and character .The magnificent garden of the home  overlooks  the castle and offers breathtaking views and a rich opportunity to enjoy quiet meals and relaxation at your leisure outdoors.

 

3 Luxury suites each with En suite bathrooms offer luxury and exquisite french Antique decor.With 2 King size suites and 1 queen size suite. In addition 2 pull out double beds ensures that up to 10 guests can stay in comfort.

 

In addition there is a full kitchen and a BBQ seating area on the rear terrace.Or enjoy the numerous cafes and restaurants that are within steps of the home.On Saturdays take part in the exciting market day when farmers and fisherman from the

region bring their fresh produce and seafood (great fresh oysters)

 

All the suites are located 1 flight of stairs up on the second floor. There is NO formal living room or dining room. All living space is within the spacious suites. The kitchen is on the main floor but offers no other spaces (no living room or dining room). Most of our guests chose to use the stunning exterior terrace space for meals or enjoy the local restaurants 

 

Explore the Medieval city of Fougeres with its famous vast Castle that dates back over 1000 years. Steps to many shops ,restaurants and Cafes. Explore the magnificent Cathedral and walking paths that lead from the French gardens throughout the city .

 

Fougeres is located a short 35 minute drive to the magical Mont St Michel and the west coast of France on the Atlantic ocean. A little further (50 minutes) is St Malo the famous walled city on the coast with rich history and beaches. Or visit  the 19th century vacation resort city of Dinard .Other  attractions in the area are numerous and include the medieval town of Vitre and the capital of Brittany, Rennes.  Within a 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour drive there is also the WW2 Normandy beaches and cemeteries as well as numerous coastal towns and villages.
